Motorcycle Jacket Buying Guide

ladies leather motorcycle jacketsTo the untrained eye, all motorcycle jackets probably look alike. When you are buying your jacket—whether it be men’s or ladies leather motorcycle jackets—there are some various characteristics that you should always take into consideration. First and foremost is the fit. Since you will primarily be using the jacket for riding, it is important to allow for adequate length in the sleeves and shoulders to ensure a wide range of motion.

Since one of the primary purposes of the jacket is protection, the padding is also a top priority. Look for jackets that have reinforcement over the elbows, shoulders and back, as they will provide the highest level of protection. Other facets to consider include the pockets, liners and presence of reflective material.

The Comfort Of Leather Jackets

Well the time black leather motorcycle jacketsfinally arrived  for me I got permission from my doctor to take a short ride on my motorcycle. Its been 10 m0nths now and with all the good weather and warm days the itch has been overwhelming. The flood run ride was this weekend so bikes were everywhere. As always there were reports of accidents and one fatality with high wind assumed to be a factor in the crash.

It wasn’t the thrill I was expecting as my bike had been sitting since last June and had to be serviced. Well I began that task and I encountered a small problem I broke a valve stem off and can’t find a replacement. I finally found a shop open on Saturday and was able to fix the problem and install a new tire put it back on the bike and  now I’m ready to ride.

I put on my Black Leather Motorcycle Jacket my leather boots my helmet and now I’m ready to ride. What a wonderful feeling! I remembered real fast why I have such a passion for riding motorcycle. My riding gear gives me a feeling of security but I also am aware of the environment I am in and adjust my riding habits accordingly. Didn’t make the flood run but was able to take a short ride and made all things ok. Ride safe and enjoy!!!

Why Wear A Leather Jacket

Well spleather biker jacketsring is here the April showers have finally arrived with much needed rain and thunder and lightning to shake the ground up and get rid of the frost. The heavy rains also wash the sand off the roads making them a little safer to ride.

With spring here one of the first big local rides will take place this weekend. It’s called the flood run and people descend along the mighty Mississippi river for a weekend of fun. There are shops set up in various villages and towns along the river displaying there Black Leather Motorcycle Jackets, vests, hats, gloves, chaps, skull caps and just about anything an avid motorcycle rider might need for the upcoming season. Its a fun ride and a fun day for all involved kind of the kick off of the riding season in these parts you might say.

Leather motorcycle jackets are a crucial part of riding gear as they offer protection from many elements such as rain, sand, sun, wind and the biggest of all that infamous road rash. Road rash is the biggest reason I personally wear my leather jacket. Its unpleasant and if you’ve ever laid a bike down you appreciate all the protection you can get. So wear your leather and ride safe and enjoy the riding season!

Well we went to Mblack leather motorcycle jacketsilwaukee on Sunday for our annual H.O.G. trip to the Harley Museum. As usual it was an enlightening experience. We were blessed with a wonderful tour guide who did a wonderful job of explaining her job as well as how different bikes and artifacts were received by the museum.

Touring the museum showed and enlightened us on how leather and leather accessories played a major part with motorcycles. Black Leather Motorcycle Jackets were a part of motorcycling even in the early days. My view of  leather jackets and motorcycling or leather accessories for that matter seem to have become more dominant during wartime. Especially the bomber jacket and this style jacket has always stood out as a style of choice amongst bikers. If you have a chance and haven’t been to the museum let your bike take control and make the museum a must see.  Ride Safe and Enjoy!

Spring Time

The weatheblack leather jacketsrs finally getting warm the robins are back the grass is starting to green up.  People are out in their yards cleaning up the winters damages and the site of motorcycles with their riders dressed in Black Leather Jackets are becoming plentiful.

With spring finally here in the north everyone seems to be getting the itch to get their motorcycles out and hit the roads. There are allot of hazards out there on the roads to be aware of in the spring and for that matter all year but especially in spring. There are salt and calcium chloride residues that spring rains haven’t taken care of and then there’s the infamous sand especially in the corners. It can do allot of damage to your bike if following someone else not to mention it also hurts. So be careful and safe riding.

Ladies Black Leather Jackets

ladies black leather jacketsWhen my twin daughters celebrated their twenty-first birthdays, my wife and I didn’t know what to get them. Some twins create sibling rivalries when they are young, but our girls have been inseparable their entire lives. They even decided to go to college together on the East Coast.

Last year they combined their funds to purchase their own motorcycle. While I have to admit that we were none to thrilled about this purchase, we have come to accept it. So for their birthday, we decide to give them a pair of matching ladies black leather jackets as a sign of our approval.

Rolling Thunder

What is iblack leather jackett? How did it start? What’s it all about?  To start it’s a motorcycle ride that originates in California and ends in Washington D.C. It is a ride that is in memory of all of our servicemen and women who are POWs or MIA from all wars past and present. It is also for the dedication of the people to fight for our govenment to look for and bring back all POW and MIA past and present.

It started in 1987  when Ray Manzo spotted some fellow marines at the reflecting pool at the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. and asked them for help. The idea to host a motorcycle ride in the nations capital to show the country and the world that abandoned American soldiers in Vietnam still mattered to their fellow servicemen and the country for which they sacrificed their freedom.

It’s quite the site with 20,000 plus bikes proudly flying the Stars and Stripes and the black and white POW MIA flags and Black Leather Jackets and blue jeans meet chrome and sound like approaching thunder. It’s in my mind got to be one off the most honorable tributes to American servicemen that there is on memorial day. It is one of those tributes that all of us should become a part of in some form on memorial day.
