Leather Motorcycle Gloves

How or wleather motorcyle jackethy are leather gloves an important safety element?  If you’ve ever laid a bike down or seen someone lay one down you would know the answer. The hands as well as other parts of the body are going to get road rash. Remember back when you were a kid on a bicycle the outcome of taking a spill on the blacktop or for that matter gravel the outcome usually wasn’t pretty.

Leather gloves can be hot to wear on hot summer days but the protection offered is worth the discomfort. They come in many styles to add comfort and safety. The gloves along with a Black Leather Motorcycle Jacket can save allot of road rash when someone cuts you off or turns in front of you and there is nowhere to go and the bike goes down taking you with it. At this point you are grateful for any safety gear you are wearing. Ride Safe and Enjoy!!!!!

With the onseleather motorcycle jacketst of warmer weather I’m seeing less and less clothing on motorcycle riders. Wow!!! just not a good idea guess most all of them of never had the misfortune of laying a bike down or been involved in a motorcycle accident. Its unfortunate and I’m at a loss of how how to convey to them how important proper dress is when riding motorcycle.

The key safety ingredients for riding are: a DOT approved helmet, a good quality Leather Motorcycle Jacket, or long sleeve shirt, depending the type of riding, heavy denim jeans with chaps depending on the elements or the degree of protection desired, a good pair of leather motorcycle riding gloves and last but not least a good pair of over the ankle boots.

As always with motorcycle riding make yourself visible wear bright colored clothing, stay out of blind spots and ride defensively. If you haven’t done so and one is available in your area take a approved motorcycle riders course the knowledge acquired is priceless. Ride safe!!!!!!!

Safety Tips For Motorcycles

Well spring has sprung and it’s great after the long winter. So as avid motorcycle riders let’s be responsible and do thorough checks on our bikes. They’ve been in storage, checking tire pressure, shock pressure, and a good thorough check of the bike for loose parts. Make sure all the lights are working black leather motorcycle jacketand that all controls are working properly.

When you head out on the road it is advisable to wear a helmet but thats the riders call. Wear your boots over the ankle is advisable,a Black Leather Motorcycle Jacket for arm and body protection and a good pair of jeans. A pair of chaps offer more protection and extra warmth in the spring if needed. A good pair of leather gloves can also offer extra protection from rocks and sand  which is still abundant on the roads. Be extra careful while riding as other motorists aren’t used to us being on the road . Stay out of blind spots ride defensively and have a happy riding season.

Purchasing Leather Biker jackets

Okay so the hard part is done you’ve shopped, found and purchased your bike. So now you’re ready to ride you think but there are still some major purchases that need to be considered if  you haven’t already done so. A Leather Biker Jacketleather biker jacket, chaps, leather gloves and in my opinion a good high quality helmet. All of these items in the interest of the riders comfort and safety.

When purchasing a Leather Jacket or any leather accessory for that matter one of the first things to consider is the quality and thickness of the leather. When looking for Leather apparel the thickness is of great importance it should be at least 1.2mm for utmost protection. There are several types of leather available with buffalo and cowhide being the most common.  The thicker leather makes for a more durable jacket and offers much more protection in case of an accident or spill.

When choosing your apparel it is important to consider the features built into the article of clothing . Pockets are a high priority for me. The size and location are important and also if they are zippered or not. A person doesn’t want to loose important or valuable merchandise. The quality of the hardware used to manufacture the jacket is an important consideration also failure of a zipper or snaps on your purchase the first time out wouldn’t make you a happy camper. Pay close attention to the quality and features built into the apparel you purchase so you can ride with confidence and enjoy your riding experiences.

A Beginners Guide For Women Riders

The first question that always comes to mind in any new adventure is where do I start. Since women are so different than men it might help to find a women mentor who has allot of riding experience. Women tend to be more supportive of one another than men do. Don’t let anyone be vague or sugar coat what riding is all about.

I’m gonna give you some basic starters and you can expand on them from hear. Number one you need to buy or borrow a bike to practice on. Preferably something smaller, easy to handle and easy to start. Know how and where all the controls are and become real familiar with them before attempting to ride. Make sure the bike is insured just in case.  Number two make sure you have safety gear. This should consist of a DOT approved helmet, a Womens Leather Motorcycle Jacket womens leather motorcycle jacketthat fits properly, a good pair of leather boots that cover the ankles and provide good traction and finally a pair of leather gloves.  Third you should find a good source of instruction. This could come from the motorcycle safety foundation or a trusted friend or spouse . Make sure whomever you choose is very supportive and knowledgeable. Remember you dont want to learn bad habits. Fourth you need a place to practice both before and after you get your liscense. Preferably a big open paved parking lot. Practice the maneuvers you were taught  do it in a practice area where you’re safe from the elements that others throw at you on the open road. Be comfortable with your bike and your ability as a rider when you hit the road. And fifth but probably most important you need support and encouragement. Find someone who is supportive and that will give good strong safe advice. Someone that will find the right answers to your questions if they don’t know the answers.

Thats it in a nutshell, take it, research it, implement it, be strong and have faith in yourself. Take your time learning and your riding experiences will be truly life changing.

Most of the apparel you see bikers wearing  has a purpose other than just looks. Dress usually is a cool shirt, denim jeans, leather boots, maybe a pair of chaps, a good helmet if desired and most important a Black Leather Jacket. Look around see what others are wearing as most all acessories are readily available on line, at the dealerships or at biker events.

Number one on my list is a high quality hemet, my choice dumped a bike or two and always glad I was wearing a helmet but I still feel thats the riders choice. Second is a proper fitting Black Leather Jacketblack leather jacket it offers a lot of protection in case of an accident. These come in a vast array of colors and styles I prefer black. Third a good pair of boots loafers or tennis shoes just dont offer much protection. Fourth and optional but provide good protection is acomfortable pair of chaps and if desired a pair of leather gloves. Always make sure your clothing is comfortable andallows good movement as the rides can get long.
